AnswerFit Privacy Policy

AnswerFit ("we", "our", or "us") is an interview practice app. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

• Account information — your name and email address, provided when you sign in with Google or Apple.
• Audio recordings — recorded only when you tap Analyze. Sent to our server for transcription; not stored permanently.
• Practice sessions — your transcripts, scores, and coaching feedback are stored in your account so you can review your history.
• Role context & job description — text you enter to personalize coaching, stored in your profile.
• Usage counts — how many sessions you complete per day, used to enforce free-tier limits.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To transcribe your practice recordings and generate coaching feedback.
• To save your practice history so you can track progress over time.
• To enforce free-tier session limits and manage Pro subscriptions.
• We do not sell your data or use it to train AI models.

3. Third-Party Services

• Clerk — authentication (sign in / sign out). clerk.com/privacy

4. Data Retention

Your practice history and profile are retained as long as your account is active. Audio recordings are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers after transcription is complete.

5. Your Rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at xing7.job@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

AnswerFit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date above.
